Responsibilities:
EO Vista is looking for a driven, self-motivated software developer ready to assume a key position on a small team developing software for this next generation satellite payload. This effort is at its start so the responsibilities include developing software requirements through system integration, validation and launch. The candidate will be interfacing with the customer, vendors, and other software teams so good communication and presentation skills are required. The development will be done in C running on VxWorks. The target hardware will consist of a single board computer in a space qualified processing assembly. The software will interface to various sub-systems. 

Qualifications:

- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

   Mission Assurance and Quality Manager – Airborne & Spaceborne Systems


EO Vista is seeking a Mission Assurance and Quality Manager in support of the next generation airborne sensor systems and weather satellite systems for the US Air Force.


Responsibilities:
This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) to manage internal and supplier mission and quality assurance efforts for complex electro-optical spaceborne and airborne payloads to ensure compliance across the organization on major programs during the design through delivery stages.  The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, performing, and reporting on all supplier mission and quality assurance-related activities to assure fulfillment of contract/purchase order requirements.  This position requires a strong team player who is committed to delivering high quality new and established products.  The Senior Mission Assurance Quality Engineer will drive and lead the establishment and completion of a companywide Quality Management System (QMS).  He/She will develop/author company-wide and program specific plans, SOP’s, Test Methods, Validation Protocols, and Reports, etc.  Frequent outside supplier contact is a part of the role.  He/She represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical supplier issues associated with specific projects.  He/She performs supplier assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, procedures and industry standards (i.e.: ISO9001/AS9100).  He/She has the ability to lead the development of an ISO Management System and provide guidance, instruction, direction and leadership across the organization to ensure alignment and compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), ISO standards, and customer contract flow downs.

Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering with 8-10+ years’ quality/mission assurance engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-10+ years’ experience in aerospace & military defense applications.
- Knowledge of the implications of Mission Assurance Class on the design, manufacturing, and qualification processes and practices for spacecraft components and systems.  
- Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems, must be able to identify and document supplier's quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective action.
- Familiarity with first article reviews of military-grade and space hardware.
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills for interfacing with senior management, customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of Government contracting requirements, such as FAR, ITAR, etc., and demonstrated knowledge of business challenges and opportunities driven by technology and regulations unique to the Defense market.
- Able to read engineering documentation (drawings, models, specs), interpret drawing dimensions, features, and parts lists, develop inspection plans, and identify critical features
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems
- Previous experience managing/supporting elements of a Quality Management System such as AS, ISO, and/or CMMI including conducting audits
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Self-starter and able to work independently through complex technical problems towards an implementable solution

- Accredited certification in Quality and/or Mission assurance field
- Knowledge and experience with space based electro optical-mechanical systems and hardware

Responsibilities:
The position will be part of an integrated mechanical, optical, and electrical team that designs and builds advanced EO/IR sensor systems. The mechanical engineer will directly interface with the optical and electrical engineering leads and will be responsible for the mechanical, structural, and thermal performance of the space sensor system from the component level through the completed sensor system.  Knowledge of drawing standards and documentation is a must.  Key experience will include the mounting of optical elements, the design of opto-mechanical structures, the design of electrical enclosures, and thermal and structural analysis.

Qualifications:  
- MS or BS in ME or Aerospace Engineering
- MS plus 5 years minimum experience, or BS plus 10 years minimum experience
- Experience with mechanical CAD modeling tools such as Creo and Solidworks (required)

Responsibilities:
This senior level position will lead the development of system level requirements and requirement flow-down to the various disciplines, subsystems, and components, and as such, requires familiarity with A and B-spec document generation. This position will interact directly and regularly with technical personnel within the customer community, outside subcontractors and vendors, and the internal multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have a proven track-record of working with spaceborne systems, starting from conceptual designs and tradeoffs, thru detailed design, development, manufacture, integration, and test.

Qualifications:
- BS in an Engineering or Science discipline, MS preferred.
- 10 years’ experience in analyzing and developing electro-optical payloads and/or components for aerospace & military defense applications.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the technical integrity of the program.
• Ensure technical success and completeness of all technical meetings and major reviews.
• Ensures maturity of technical baseline is tracked and technical debt is managed.
• Manage the program Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) and system performance requirements.
